valentine’s day sprinkle rims

As far as I’m aware, sprinkle rims originated when photographer Gray Malin began sharing snaps on Instagram of his in-flight cocktails rimmed with rainbow jimmies, sparking a bevy of regrams and recreations. Most recently, Glitter Guide shared a post illustrating how to get the look, using honey as sprinkle glue. I decided to give the idea a go for Valentine’s Day, swapping out the ubiquitous ROY G. BIV palette for mini hearts and neon pink sugar.

This idea is a fun and super simple touch for any Galentine’s Day get together. Sprinkle your rims, pop some rosé, and enjoy time with your favorite girlfriends!

YOU’LL NEED:

  • Honey
  • Delicate Valentine’s Day sprinkles (regular jimmies or large shaped sprinkles will be too heavy and droop down) – I used these and these
  • Pretty glasses
  • Cocktail of your choice!
