DIY with Cotton: Fiesta Jeans

Man oh man am I excited about today’s post. A month or two back, Cotton, as in the fabric of our lives, reached out to me to partner on some DIYs utilizing cotton fabric. The partnership was a natural fit since I’m all about comfort and ease, and no fabric lends itself to those things quite like cotton.

Since I basically live in jeans, we came up with three denim DIYs I think you’re going to love. First up are what I call fiesta jeans. The colorful pocket embroidery is reminiscent of serapes, aka Mexican blankets, while the pompom trim is a nod to mariachi sombreros. ¡Olé!

I offset these funky jeans with a basic white tee (similar here), black slip-on loafers and some colorful charm necklaces I made to create a casual spring look that’s anything but boring.

Head on over to Cotton’s DIY blog to find out how to make these jeans for yourself and be sure to check back here tomorrow and Thursday as I reveal two more super fun and easy denim DIYs!
