Blog post updated from November 28, 2018.

Festive cocktails call for decorative accessories — and a Hanukkah cocktail is no exception! Whip up a set of these fun pom pom cocktail stirrers then head to our Pom-ukkah Party post for a crowd-pleasing “Better-than-Manischewitz” Hanukkah cocktail with which to pair them.

Pro tip: A set of pom pom cocktail stirrers also makes for the perfect host gift for any Hanukkah party!

YOU’LL NEED:

  • Omegacryl* in an assortment of festive colors – we used: Navy Blue, Water Blue, Sky Blue, Turquoise, White & Neon Yellow
  • Fork
  • 1″ pom pom trim guide*
  • Embroidery floss*
  • Sharp scissors
  • Wooden skewers

*Included in our Pom Pom & Tassel DIY Starter Kit!

STEP 1: Make bebe fork poms by wrapping 25 x 2 colors for each half of the pom pom around an actual fork. Tie and trim with a 1″ trim guide. (All pom pom steps can be found here!)

STEP 2: Spear finished pom onto the pointy end of a wooden skewer, push down to the desired height (depending on the glasses with which you’re serving them) and the carefully break the skewer at the correct height. Trim any errant wood fibers and hide the broken end inside your pom pom. Alternatively, you can find wooden skewers / drink stirrers in the length you need and just add the pom pom. 🙂

STEP 3: Repeat the process to create as many drink stirrers as you need! Switch up the pom pom colors to make a fun variety set that also helps guests know which cocktail is theirs!
