Granny Square Cardigan Pattern
We couldn’t close out Granny Month without sharing one more showstopping project – Meet: THE Granny Square Cardigan.
We sat down as a team and chatted through all of the details that would make the perfect granny garment, and made it happen! Loaded with tips to customize the pattern for your perfect fit, you can turn colorful granny squares into a literal technicolor dreamcoat.
GRANNY SQUARE CARDIGAN PATTERN
Our granny square cardigan pattern & yarn bundles for sizes S – 3XL are available for purchase in the TNTP shop!
Already have a 5mm hook, and more yarn than you know what to do with? Grab just the pattern.
Currently experiencing color decision paralysis? We’ve curated four different yarn bundles that will stitch together beautifully!
Our cardigan pattern & bundles are available in three sizes:
- Size 1: ~15″ back width
- Size 2: ~20″ back width
- Size 3: ~25″ back width
This measurement is taken across the row of squares where the back panel meets the armhole seam. If you’re unsure what size to go with, try measuring a well-fitting garment you already own for reference!
We’ve also included tips in the pattern on how to decrease/increase this width by adjusting the rows of your squares if you’d like to it to fall somewhere in between the suggested sizes.
