How to Slip Stitch Along a Foundation Chain or the Edge of a Project
Start with a foundation chain (or the outside row of a project).
From the foundation chain insert hook in the 2nd stitch from the hook (not including loop on hook).
Yarn over, meaning wrap your yarn around your hook, crossing over the front diagonally upwards from right to left.
Pull the yarn through the stitch and the loop on the hook.
Slip stitch made!
If doing a row of slip stitches, continue slip stitching to the end of your row!
