The Mismatched Chevron pattern is a play on the class Chevron, comprised of half rows of forwards knots and half rows of backwards knots in offset colors.
Jump to section:
Choose 7 colors you'd like to include in your design, then cut one 36" strand of each. Tie all of your strands together 3” down, then separate strands in your desired color order.
Starting with the strand on the far left (coral) tie a series of forwards knots on the 3 neighboring strings to the right, then stop.
Next, using the strand on the far right (orange), tie a series of backwards knots on the 3 neighboring strings to the left, then stop.
Continue until your bracelet is long enough to fit around your wrist.
Apply your new-found skill to create awesome things! Here’s a round-up of project inspiration.
