Lesson: How to Make a Mismatched Chevron Friendship Bracelet
The Mismatched Chevron pattern is a play on the class Chevron, comprised of half rows of forwards knots and half rows of backwards knots in offset colors.

- Omegacryl yarn or embroidery floss in a variety of colors
- Tape measure
- Washi tape or safety pin
- Small scissors


step one
Choose 7 colors you'd like to include in your design, then cut one 36" strand of each. Tie all of your strands together 3” down, then separate strands in your desired color order.

step two
Starting with the strand on the far left (coral) tie a series of forwards knots on the 3 neighboring strings to the right, then stop.

step three
Next, using the strand on the far right (orange), tie a series of backwards knots on the 3 neighboring strings to the left, then stop.

step four
Continue until your bracelet is long enough to fit around your wrist.
